INFORMATION ON HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA


O.F.A.S. S.p.A. (in future “COMPANY”) is the data controller of this web site (in future also (site) and regarding Art. 13 of the (UE) Regulation 2016/679 (in future also “GDPR”) releases information regarding the protection of the data of natural persons. Art. 13 of the EU.Regulation 2016/679 referring to the handling of personal data requires that the users can communicate while navigating on the present site. This information does not regard any other site of third party subjects even if they can be reached through links present on this site.

CATEGORIES OF DATA HANDLED

The categories of data acquired can be of two categories

1. Navigation data
2. Data offered spontaneously by the User

1.Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedure involved in the functioning of this web site in the normal course of their procedure obtain some personal data. The transmission of this data is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information has not been obtained in order to be associated with identified interests but due to its very nature, through data elaboration and association, it would permit the users’ identification. This category of data would include, for example IP addresses or the names within the dominion adopted by the users of the computers who connect to the site, the time of the request and other parameters related to the operative system and to the user’s computer ambience. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to control that it is working properly and are cancelled immediately after the elaboration of the same.

2.Data offered spontaneously by the User

The present site has a section dedicated to the data offered by the user who can autonomously and voluntarily decide whether or not to supply them. The voluntary insertion of the data in the designated section results in the acquisition of the same by O.F.A.S. S.p.A.
The data acquired are those supplied by the user.
The data acquired may be used to respond to the users’ requests or , if authorized, to forward commercial information.
The data acquired can also be used to improve the users’ navigation experience.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING , THE NATURE OF THE CONFERMENT OF THE PERSONAL DATA AND CONSEQUENCES OF A REFUSAL

The Company handles your data to facilitate navigation, and to supply the services you have eventually requested, using specifically predisposed forms on the site. Apart from what is specific for the navigation data and for the technical cookies within the sections specifically predisposed for particular services that you have requested, you are to be free to supply your personal data for the purposes. However the omission of data requested can make it impossible to supply the service requested.

The data can be processed on paper or electronically and, in particular, by ordinary post or e-mail, by telephone (for example automatic calls, SMS, MMS), by fax or any other computer channel (e.g. web sites mobile instruments ).

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The personal data collected through the use of the site will be stored for the period of time that is strictly necessary to achieve the scope for which they have been collected or if this period has expired, they may eventually be stored for the period laid down by the law in force. Any data eventually not used will be cancelled after 24 months have passed since the last contact or dispatch of commercial information.

AREA INVOLVED IN THE DATA PROCESSING AND CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS

It is only for the above specified purposes the data collected and processed may be sent to subjects authorized to process them because of the respective tasks involved and they may also be sent to external subjects to whom the communication of the data is necessary. Where it is necessary to deal with these external figures they will be appointed to be in charge of the processing through a special contract or other legal procedure.

TRANSFER OF DATA TOWARDS A THIRD COUNTRY AND/OR AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

Your personal data will not be transferred to non-European third countries.

AUTOMATED PROFILING

Your data will not be subjected to automated processing.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECT

Pursuant to GDPR articles 15-22 the following rights have been ascribed to the interested parties:
a) right of access ,that is the right to obtain confirmation from the Company that your data is being handled, in which case you have the right to access the data;
b) the right to cancel and erase, that is the right to rectify inexact data and/or to obtain the integration of incomplete data or the cancellation of the data;
c) the right to limit the processing, that is the right to request the suspension of the processing;
d) the right to data portability, that is the right to receive the data in a structured form that is normally used and legible together with the right to transmit the data to another owner of the data;
e) the right to opposition, that is the right to oppose the processing of the data;
f) The right to appeal to a data protection authority competent in the case of unlawful processing of the data.
